#3 what does paying into a government Ponzi scheme have to do with being grown up?

I got 18 here, some of these are retarded though. Filing Post? What the fuck does that mean. Spending weekends pottering? Does that mean getting drunk? Listening to Radio 2. Who the fuck listens to the radio outside of a car?

Filing post is basically keeping all your important mail sorted i.e. Bills, mortgage, etc. Pottering is basically doing nothing, or getting drunk is nearly the same. And number 3 is about private pension schemes from your employer or a private company. All Brits automatically pay into the basic state pension as soon as they work through our National Insurance Tax.

I wasn't confused about #3 though, I'm just highly against government pensions. I think people should be able to opt out of it and do what they want with their money.

Pension isn't necessarily via the government. You CAN have a private pension, in the US anyways. Dunno about other nations.

That's true. Lots of people are saving up for private pensions here in Europe as well (partly because of the economy).
