Forums - General - How grown up are you? 50 things that you should have done

I Read an artical in The Daily Mail yesterday that gave a survey to find out how grown up you are. There are 50 things on the list, the more you've done the more grown up you are. Out of the 50 I scored 34. Heres the survey. And heres the link for the full artical if you're Intrestedhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2156475/How-tell-grown-up.html. Post your scores people. I'm looking forward to NinPies responce too.

I do about 35 of those, having children and getting married will never happen to me though sadly.

actually I scored 29, not so bad.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Too bad there's no prize for the single digits. I scored a whopping 9. Most of these have little to do with maturity though. It seems geared toward "grown up" affairs more than marks of maturity. Some people simply grow into non-mainstream lifestyles. I hardly think that should be grounds for considering them less of an adult.

How do you breathe again?

My parents told me yesterday that they need me to start "growing up a bit", so I thought I would have a read of this thread, it seemed relevant (I also haven't told them I'm planning to move in with my girlfriend yet, let's wait until things are a little more certain).

I scored 18, not too bad I would say, especially as half of them are the kind of things you do once you've moved out (why would I have a 'best' crockery set and a mortgage when I still live with my parents?).

I scored 6 xD

Being a university student is the best :P

22 - but who the hell made this list??

Change light bulb? so being 10 years old and not a moron counts as adult now?
Pension? really, how many people have pensions anymore? I work for corporate america not the government.
lawn mower? fuck you, i love my condo.
removing make-up before bed time? yeah...
sunday paper? seriously this list was made in the early 90's not 2012.

almost 40.. sheesh, I don't want to!! at least I'll never get married, so 50 is out of the way..

I almost got 50%, I hit 24 on the list. Lol at 29, that one is a little bizarre.

Many of those terms are foreign to me due to this not being an American list.

But I scored 39. =|

You will be surprised at the simplest of things that people can't do these days in modern day Britain. Have a look at this link

A lot of Brits have their own private pension too (I don't yet) Mainly due to the fact that the state pension is pretty crappy.
