TBH, you look like you're trolling with this thread, maybe very accurately and factual trolling, but still trolling...
Anyways, it was to be expected at one point, they can't all be jam packed years.

Doesn't Sony usually lose the holiday period to Microsoft regardless of what's coming out? Also, I've seen them delay their games until the early months pretty often (LittleBigPlanet 2, God of War 3) until they're 'finished'. I don't really see anything surprising about what they're doing this time around.
Notable 1st party titles
-Sly Cooper Thieves in Time
-Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale
-LittleBigPlanet Karting
3rd parties..
-Assassins Creed 3
-Call of Duty Black Ops 2
-Grand Theft Auto V(?)
-Medal of Honor
...etc

Microsoft
Fable and Forza aren't going to spur console sales at all dude.(maybe Forza will boost a bit in Europe) Halo 4 will have huge boosts for console sales though. There is no Black OPs 2 bundle this year.
Sony
All-Stars definitely will boost PS3 sales. How much, depends on how well Sony markets it. LBP Karting should definitely sell some more Moves and be semi-big with the casuals. And if we mention 3rd party, there's that Assassin's Creed 3 bundle which is bound to move lots of hardware. Oh and this summer there will be a Black Ops bundle which should give a good boost to American sales.
PABR is going to move consoles
If PABR or LBPK has their own bundle, I think it could do well for sales. In fact, I think this is exactly what Sony is planning. There is also an AC3 ps3 bundle I believe.
Unless its bundled I don't see Battle-Royale "moving" anything or Karting for that matter.
Too be honest it's so late in the gen that The PS3/360 have a big catalogue of great games that it will still sell on their back catalogues alone. Sure it would be nice to get TLOU , GOW A and BEYOND this holiday, but the 3rd party games are already more than enough to keep any gamer happy ie RE6, TekkenT2, COD, and ACIII.

maybe...
