and listen this is something that I notice with a lot of ninty fans including you, you guys jump around in joy about good graphics (omfg zelda hd lookz amazinnnnng) but that is only until the competition comes up with something better, then it's meh who cares about graphics anyways

fact of the matter is sony exclusive line ups include great gameplay, great graphics etc. It's not a deal of one or the other. Have you played journey? Heavy Rain? UC3? (both sp and mp) infamous? R&C? If you think gameplay doesn't set these apart then you are just deluding yourself to the same extent you thought talking for 30mins and showing games you knew about for the other 15 was great for an additional conference!

yes it is. look in 500 uncharted threads and of 10k posts 5k are only about the graphics. surely not about the more as simple gameplay which is a weak point of uncharted. all i thought playing uncharted 2 the first time was "omfg that looks so nice" and i did never think about the gamplay because the graphics flashed me so and this is what you read all the time "omg the graphics". i did not so much read "wow that great aiming" lol


wait what does that suppose to mean? Graphics is one of the strongest point of that game because that franchise is the best looking franchise on consoles this generation. Of course there will be a lot of discussion about it. The graphics really add to the atmosphere as well because as much as it's a TPS, it's also an adventure game.

Simple gameplay? Unless you play on a easier difficulty level or something I can not see how UC gameplay is 'simpler' than any TPS in the market? Heck the multiplayer has no equal in the ways you can play it.The vertical gameplay and use of elements like water is just not matched. It also has many unique features not found in other mp games anywhere.

Stop being silly, just because you were impressed by the graphics, doesn't mean that's all the game is about. If not we will not hear the end of how amazing Crysis is.

Not sure what the issue with aiming is here? What exactly is the problem? I'm guessing you think there's an issue and hence the 'lol' at the end. Tell me. what is it? what else is 'weak' exactly? I want to hear specifics

it means that a lot of uncharted is about graphics. yes the game is fun and the music is awesome (i believe i gave uncharted 2 95%) but it seems like 90% of people who love uncharted only love it because of the graphics. have you ever seen aldro or so posting about uncharted? it's all only about "here i have 100 new pics with the graphics". just put average graphics in uncharted and you would see how many fans it would have after that. a game like god of war or halo would have many fans without graphics (halo did not even have awesome graphics in the past) but i really don't see that for uncharted.

i did not very often see someone posting a uncharted video to show the great gameplay.

i'm not silly, i just say what i experinced over the last years when people were talking about uncharted.

and aiming is bad if you played gears of war a lot as example. that's what i mean with aiming.

I don't give a fuck about profits and marketshare, i can't play that. They've managed to keep their fan base much more satisfied despite being in loss and having less marketshare

I would think you would care about your favorite companies profits. If they continue losing money they might not be able to sustain themselves, therefore you wouldn't have anymore Sony.

I have played gears a lot..(not 3 ..yet) I don't see the issue. I'm Lvl 3 Legacy rank 75, with over 80k Objective points and around 25k kills in UC3 MP.  I have absolutely no issue with aiming. Every game will feel different going from one to the other, this is true for halo, gears, KZ, COD, MOH etc. it doesn't mean it's weak at all.

Aldro iirc have played the SP campaign for over 10 times..if you think it was just to see the same graphics then you are mistaken. Graphics in general is a heated topic here on vgc hence the many topics. And UC3 is the best looking game of the gen so there is a lot to talk about. Doesn't mean that's it nor does it mean it's weak.

I for one have talked many times about all the cool features of UC3..made a few threads too (have to make one more which I will do after finals) ..guess you didn't see them

Yet here they are, releasing 5+  90+ quality games per year, more than Nintendo does in 2.5 years

Anyways, I seriously disagree with them, the two best franchises (IMO) on the PS3 are franchises that started last gen, and making a bunch of games that sell between 500k and 2M does not make you about the gamer, because there's still 62M others.

This E3 I haven't seen any more exclusive games that I care about from them then in the Microsoft.
