7th gen for me. Because this gen has been far more competitive each company has had to innovate more and continuously bring new games to the market. There's been some fantastic new IP's and the fact that one company hasn't really steamrolled the competition like the ps2 did is a good thing.
I played something like 150 titles for PS2 and 150 titles for PS3.. but I feel like 6th gen's games were way better overall! This gen has some games of incredible quality such as Uncharted, Heavy Rain and many more really enjoyable like Assassin's Creed, Bayonetta, GTA IV, God of War 3, Demon's Souls.. but most of games lack of something that the past gen was able to cater. In many ways 5th gen was even better, but the graphics limitation make the 6th a good compromise between quality of the game and good graphics.
Choosing between 6th and 7th, I would say 7th. That is probably a personal choice though, but many of the series I am now a big been created or I have started playing this generation, ie: Bioshock, Drake, Fallout, Elder Scrolls.
