did i just read that right,someone complaining about spain when they are world/euro champions,that is an absolute classic,they'll probably win this one too as they are just too good for the rest of us

Is it not allowd to complain about some things, even if they won everything (which was in the past)? I'm not saying they're crap, they're still pretty awesome. But I don't see them as strong as they were and I don't like the coach either.

Barcelona are supposedly the best club team in the world yet still lost in the SF of the CL, they have weakenesses just as Spain do.

One of the best teams ever, the dutch team of the 70's won fuck all,  I've said it before I won't be shocked to see them get knocked out in the SF, but they have earned the right to be deemed as favourites, its just that it means jack in cup competitions.

My point was about the fact you thought it was classic that people were slightly criticizing Spain's team selection based on what they achieved 4&2 yrs ago, when it's perfectly justified that people state this squad is weaker than 2yrs ago.

This is a football thread and I was merely pointing out that Spain are not this supreme team immune from criticism.

i admit they probably won't win this one because winning 3 in a row is pretty special but spain are capable of it becuase of their poccession style of play

Every person has their own set of ideas and preferences, you surelly don't have the same national team in mind than the one sent to the Euro. The same thing happens here, and since we can't talk about the matches, I wanted to discuss the team that has been formed and my dislike of the coach.
