Simple thread. Are you satisfied with your parents? Did they raise you well? Did they give you oppurtunities to fulfill your potential? Etc. Were they decent people?

This isn't a question of financial issues or anything like that. I'm mainly interested in if you are satisfied with their character.

I have a loving mother that I feel did the best for me but is very grounded in reality e.g she don't think people should follow the dream unless they have the talent/skill to back it up, and I a "father" I don't care for and will never care for.

I know right from wrong so they must have done something right

More or less the same in my family.

Both my parents have been amazing. When I needed disability support from the school that should have been given by law, they had to fight for it every moment of my school career and they never gave up.

There is only one thing I would change: I wish my dad would give up smoking like my mum has.

I think mine have been about as good as you could hope for.

I have fantastic parents who are young also. They have supported me throughout my life and have worked extremely hard to give us the best in life. I can't wait to eventually give them back what they gave to me.
