Well, for me the next RS game should only be about flying and use the Wii remote like a normal jet controller. Retro is where it's at imo.

I stopped caring around them around the time Rogue Squadren games started sucking

imagine a Rogue Squadron game where you can play online, with voice chat, and play campaign missions, so now you can really communicate with your rogue squadron. Or to play in a mission where some are playing the empire and others the rebels, but imo this will only work with voice chat, not stupid line predefined commands

they could have saved Lair by including just regular SixAxis analog controls. Your point is moot as we have no idea if they are smart enough to realize they cant make good motion controls.

What are the odds that they would set up a secondary control option using controllers not all Wii owners are guaranteed to have when one of the biggest complaints of Lair was that you couldn't just fly with the damn sticks that every sixaxis controller had?
Like others have said Factor "4.5" will have to prove themselves with a good game again before we should get hyped up prerelease.
Edit: Ah I see ssj12 beat me to it.
Eh, I'm half-n-half on this. They made great GCN games, but is their current talent more accurately represented by Lair?
I hope not...
This will probably be the first Factor 5 game that I wait for the reviews first.
I'm excited about this and willing to give them a second chance. Mostly because I never played Lair :)
Good news imo. Hopefully Factor 5 works on the gameplay a little bit more than last time. ;)
Quality for Life
They failed miserably on the PS3. Also they lost lots of developers right after Lair's release in the USA (I have 2 friends that worked on Lair and they both left, they were not the only one's though).
Now they are back to Nintendo and I really think it's the best thing they can do. They clearly are no Insomniac or Naughty Dog and most likely Sony pulled the financing on them. I know that they had a contract with Sony for another game, a PSN game, not sure if it will ever be released or not since my internal contacts are both gone from Factor 5.
One thing I know, I'm not sad to see them leave Sony for Nintendo. They did great things in the past (since the Amiga times) but for the past few years they lost it. Also their control ideas are more in line with Nintendo Wii and it's user base.
I hope they get their sh*t together and please Wii users.

I totally agree :)
