I feel like a broken record having to point this out. Nintendo didn't neglect the 3DS in the slightest. They in fact felt they had so much to show for it that it deserved it's own separate showing. Which will be today.

No, not in the slightest. They showed 3 big games and told us there was an entire dedicated conference just for the 3DS. Announcing a separate event for it, as it has too much to fit in, is most definitely not neglecting something.

The only way you could say they neglected it would be if you were being farcically finicky and saying that announcing a different conference the next day doesn't count because the conference itself wouldn't be in the alloted 1hour 10 minute time. Although I now get the impression that this is what you are angling at.
