I continue to fail to see how we have been neglected, this year so far there has only been one medium-high profile Nintendo game that has released in Japan and not yet Europe and/or America - Fire Emblem: Awakening. And even then a PAL release has been confirmed before the end of the year and within the last 24 hours Reggie has confirmed a US localisation. I'm expecting it to hit Europe in the Autumn, probably October, which will be about 6 months between Japanese and PAL releases; I think that would be pretty good, especially considering that we never got FE games pre-2003, missed out on the final DS remake and have had historically to wait longer, such as 13 months for Sacred Stones(Japan: October 2004, Europe: November 2005).
I don't see what Nintendo could've done to please you, unless everyone at NoE's translation department worked overtime and they hired a fuck load of temporary staff, meaning they could perhaps localise FE: Awakening in a matter of weeks, which would be costly, not giving enough time for press previews and adverts and setting a bad precedent (I'm sure people would demand every RPG, no matter how text heavy to be localised in a matter of weeks).
I guess alternatively NoE/A could've localised some currently Japan only 3rd party games, but outside of MH3G, none would've made much of a difference. There is also the fact that with the exception of the previously mentioned MH3G, most unlocalised 3rd party games have been released this year. Even then wouldn't be ideal for localisations now. for example Europe still needs the third Inazuma Eleven game (and the US hasn't had any), so IE Go is kind of out of the question; equally would there really be a market for Can My Little Sister Really Be This Cute? (or whatever the hell it's called)?
To summarise, I do not understand your problem?
