I'm messing with you. I didn't want to throw out a generic Sony copied Nintendo comment, so I went for a generic PS3 plays movies comment. |
Oh nicely done! I commend your creativity.

03/10/09 HUGE day in my life:

Haha, that's like the comments that Move will get good third party games, because the Wii exists. Good exclusive content for a Nintendo home console from third parties which will then get ported over? Abandon all hope. |
Good point but unlike the Wii, the WIIU is coming out so it's best is not here yet. Whilst the Move came towards the end of the WIi, the Vita/PS3 relationship is at the start of the WIIU...

Every WiiU has a tablet. Not everyone with a PS3 has a Vita... Indeed right now.... its a tiny figure. |
Yes, a tiny figure that will never grow...never...ever ever.
I refuse to believe that by the time WIIU A) comes out and B) starts getting a strong list of 3rd parties, the number of Vita+PS3 owners won't have grown at least by 1...¬_¬
kowenicki said:
oh its growing (slooooooowly)... but nobody knows how big it is (how many have both I mean) developers arent going to embrace an unknown install base. But if you feel this is an important feature that will be widely used then fine... |
I never said it was an important feature that will be widely used, I'm just saying it's not as implausible that this could happen as people think.

how many 3rd party games have the promised cross-play feature... where a double purchase isnt required? |
Good point, though I maintain this opens up possibilities rather than limits them.
