Heading out to gamestop in a bit! Can't wait!

I read somewhere that GameStop cancelled midnight releases In New York because the damage done by Hurricane Sandy, so can anyone confirm this?

If I'm not mistaken, Toadslayer is from NY, and went to the launch. 

I'm not in the city though so I really don't know but I wouldn't be surprised because things are really fucked up down there. I'm 90 miles from NYC and people are coming upstate from there and Jersey to get gas and supplies. Some of the big gas stations in my area were completely out a couple of days ago.

I ended up going to Walmart anyway, about 20-25 bummy looking nerds made up the line ahead of me with like 5 more behind me. Walmart still managed to fuck it up though and the line didn't start moving til almost 12:10. Anyway, my impressions so far......multiplayer is off the hook good. It's so fluid, it feels good to be a real Spartan again. Thruster has saved my ass from grenade spamming countless times already, I love it along with the full time sprint. This really feels like the perfect evolution to me so far. Weapons are very rewarding and the DMR is a beast as is the needler. I didn't play campaign but I watched my son play through the hectic opening scene and a little of the first mission, it look gorgeous. The CGI in the very opening is so freaking good, I would love to see a full movie done like that. I even played a little Spartan Ops but that was just some basic run through and tear shit up. I think the real appeal there will show itself down the line.

All in all, and very early on I absolutely love the game. I think Halo fans will no doubt enjoy it too.

GT just gave Halo 4 a 9.0 out of 10. Just watched and wanted to give an update.

With Halo 4, now just two more to go.

My first impressions:

Campaign....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW THIS LOOKS AMAZING!!!! ...two hours laters....hmm , feels linear, doing much the same, some stuff from COD..

Multiplayer...

HALO 4 servers down X_X... Woohoo after ten minutes I can play an King of the hill match with 8 players! Vehicles in KoH with 8 players? It ended up being spawn killing for the ones sitting in the vehicles (hate that shit).. ..Try spartan ops...Halo 4 servers down...Try multiplayer again but takes to long to find match ..

Now taking some break with watching MCI/AJA.

They are saying there are many people playing the game and some are experiencing difficulties...

Goddamn, my gf is watching a loooong movie on netflix. Can't wait to get my dirty little hands on this game. :P
