it also made the d-pad usless, but those were not used in games that required the use of the joystick.

I agree that the thumb stick wasn't durable, however I never busted one myself.

In anycase, ebay has more modern ones that use the ball (like GCN). so quick replacement and it will never fail again haha.

I'm not liking the position of the face buttons. It's like they placed them there just so they can make it a little different from the 360 controller.
