Forums - Sony - Resistance Vita Drops In Price, Sony Not Offering Refunds

Meh, the people bought the game at 40 so they thought it was worth it apperantly.

Plus, Sony needs the money, they're not suddenly going to give it away again.

Just a question: Did anyone pay back Sony when they accidentally gave away free games when they weren't meant to?

Why should they?  I've read enough comments from gamers to realise we are living in a everything for nothing society.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

sony should really try to set vita game prices around the 30 dollar mark

Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony and all the developers and publishers out there need to realize that if they want digital copies to succeed so they can cut on manufacture costs and used games sells, then STOP BEING SO GREEDY and give a real substantial discount, $4 is hardly anything, especially in some states that have a high tax...be serious

Full price on a digital download is ridiculous. If you cut out the manufacturers and all the shipping costs, cut out the retailers cut and cut out the costs of an sd card + case only to add the cost of hosting a server or however the internet works then I expect to pay at least 20% less.

I agree they should be cheaper, $5 is probably about right as it is resonably close to physical. The small difference still gives the option for a person to say fuck it, $5 more I will get the hardcopy.

Also think about it, they cannot go 20% cheaper with digital because if they did, it would result in a backlash from retailers stocking physical copies which will result in less sales as there are still plenty of people who jsut don't go online with their system.

Even if digital was $5 cheaper than MSRP, you are still bound to find it cheaper in retail. Within a week many retailers start putting discounts on games. Heck, I just bought the Darkness 2 for $15 new. If your concerned about price don't buy the game day one.

I am pretty sure digital copies can also be sold. Does steam allow that yet?
