I have big doubts that the sales numbers on the NPD are completely accurate.

I dont know about the US, but in europe the 3DS game was constantly sold out.

The numbers for graces are disappointing though. It shoudl've been released on the 360 aswell. Abyss on the 3DS did good considering. Also, i guess vesperia didnt do so bad on the 360 in retrospect. But if that wasnt enough, its not good news.

also, it seems to be the first month sales number and i dunno how many days are considered in there. All in all, the numbers for the other PS2 games seem to be really low and unrealistic (like the original abyss selling only 70k copies in the US? And, out of nowhere symphonia does 470k). Something is off in those numers, im not sure exactly what though, but i dont trust them.

Well, I'd choose to trust number according to the following order

Financial Reports Shipped Numbers - Famitsu - Media Create - Dangeki - NPD... and that's it.

I don't really trust VGC software numbers, TBH. So I think those NPD numbers are the closer we will get to the true numbers.

But the point is not this. The point is that if a game can sell that and still come west, MH3G will definitely come, cause it WILL sell more than that. It's not text heavy, voice-heavy. It's not niche themed (like a love simulator or things like that)... it'll come.

I really hope you're right. I bought a 3DS mainly because of how impressed i was with MH3G.

People seriously comparing MH4 to MHF? MH on the PSP had waaaaaay less textures, no shadows etc.. this is much much more detailed than the PSP versions. Hell it looks better than the Wii version on the small screen. I even think the 3D will make it look better. And it still has 1 yr for polishing.. it's actually lookin insane.

Capcom should learn from square how to publish their videos.

There were two problems with the first video - textures and framerate.

Now seeing the real scaled video and released info... one is 90% solved and the other is completely solved with 60fps!

Looks amazing, the beasts looks godly animated and if this game represents a step towards more area/less load times... I can't imagine its success! 3G will be a 2 million seller + by the time this arrives. I guess MH4 will beat it in 2 weeks.

Anyways, the game isn't finished so obviously it'll look a lil rough in some areas.
