Weekly D3 sales are 6.3 millions units according to Blizzard again...

So VGChartz is 350% off...

I think this clearly demonstrate that the site shoudn't try to give PC software sales because the number have no relations with reality...

PS : the Blizzard number do not include the 1.2 millions copies they gave to Wow users that signed a 1 year subscription...

While I'm not the most vocal advocate of this site's numbers, I believe it only claims to track retail copies, no? The linked press report doesn't give us any breakdown of retail vs. digital.

I'll go with Vg on this one, even if these numbers make them broken and irrelevant. So fucking tired of all the bullshit these egomaniac publishing houses force upon us.

VGChartz does not track digital sales. It's a huge weakness, but it explains the massive difference.

Makes you wonder if VGChartz can survive next gen as gaming becomes more digitalized.

Until we know how many units exactly of those were DD I won't blame vgc for the difference.

It's also a Blizzard press release.... so the whole sales vs. shipment thing also likely applies.

I dont really think that's true.  yea vgchartz isn't 100% accurate but neither is NPD. vgchartz is fine to me
