Inazuma Eleven Strikers Ready To Kick It On European Wiis

Nintendo of Europe has been publishing Level-5′s soccer RPG series, Inazuma Eleven, in PAL territories. So far, only the Nintendo DS games are available, but it looks like the Wii game Inazuma Eleven Strikers is in the cards.

Level-5 filed a trademark for Inazuma Eleven Strikers in Europe last week, a good sign that a publisher (most likely Nintendo of Europe) have signed on to create an English localized version. While the games are more or less the same, the European versions have different names for the characters like Mark Evans instead of Endou Mamoru and Shawn Frost instead of Shiro Fubuki. That actually makes sense since the kanji used for "Fubuki" is also used for blizzard.

I hope this is true. If so it will probably be my last Wii game..

And this has all of the first trilogy.
Day 1 if true.

Should i be interested in this?

Hope so, altough this game has no story and it's more action oriented than it's handheld counterparts. Still it's a fun game

If this is true I'm even more impressed by NoE's commitment to support Wii with good games right up until WiiU comes out.
Having been burned by Nintendo with the GC and NoA with Wii - basically abandoning the systems in their last year or so - it's very encouraging to see at least NoE looking out for their loyal fans like this.

Always been intriqued by this series. Will certainly keep an eye on this.
