It's hard to sell a game if you don't advertize it.

LoL at Sorcery. So is move officially dead now?

Not really. I expect Sony to continue making games for it. They just need to make the right games and release them at the damnable right time.

Also @ Diablo 3 drop. That was expected in the UK. The PC market there is very very small compared to Europe as a whole.

Look how long Sorcery took to make.

Now look at the sales of the Vita, which should be a focus for Sony if they don't want to let it die.

Now look at all the PS4 / Next Gen rumors coming up. A PS4 needs a lot of launch games.

And after all this looking you probably did not see one thing: Resources to make bigger games for Move (AND MOVE ONLY, not optionwise. This did not work in the past 16 months!)

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Great sales for gt5 in uk as usual. It just keeps going... And are people seriously surprised at sorcery? No advertising, move has little interest atm, not much consumer interest, average reviews...

This year Sony is the champ in making games that gamers don't want to play. I don't understand why they didn't make Sports Champions 2, people loved and bought the first one.

Twisted Metal, StarHawk and Sorcery ?

I think it has more to do with Sony completely ignoring marketing with majority of their releases than making games ''gamers don't want to play''. Without following GAF and Chartz I wouldn't have even known that StarHawk was out...

Yep TM, Sorcery and Starhwak have been terrible sales wise (at this point in Europe specifically), and when it comes specifically to UK I like the expert analyses that goes on about not being in the top 40, like it actually means something taking into consideration how bad software is selling in there. Mater of fact, VGChartz has overtracked almost every new release this year in UK this year according to Gfk Chart tracking.

UK Top 10 April, 2012 (Gfk Chart-Track/Enterbrain)
(Apr 01 - Apr 28 weeks 14-17)

01. [360] Kinect Star Wars (Microsoft) - 64,000
02. [360] FIFA Street (Electronic Arts) - 40,000
03. [360] Mass Effect 3 (Electronic Arts) - 35,000
04. [360] The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - Enhanced Edition (Namco Bandai) - 31,000
05. [PS3] FIFA Street (Electronic Arts) - 31,000

09. [PS3] FIFA 12 (Electronic Arts) - 21,000
10. [WII] Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Sega) - 18,000

UK Top 10 March, 2012 (Gfk Chart-Track/Enterbrain)
(Feb 26 - Mar 31 weeks 09-13)

01. [360] Mass Effect 3 (Electronic Arts) - 170,000
02. [360] FIFA Street (Electronic Arts) - 86,000
03. [PS3] FIFA Street (Electronic Arts) - 61,000
04. [PS3] Mass Effect 3 (Electronic Arts) - 46,000
05. [360] SSX (Electronic Arts) - 42,000
06. [PS3] SSX (Electronic Arts) - 37,000
07. [WII] Mario Party 9 (Nintendo) - 32,000
08. [360] Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City (Capcom) - 26,000
09. [360] FIFA 12 (Electronic Arts) - 23,000
10. [WII] Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Sega) - 18,000

UK Top 10 February, 2012 (Gfk Chart-Track/Enterbrain)
(Jan 29 - Feb 25 weeks 05-08)

01. [PS3] Final Fantasy Xiii-2 (Square Enix Europe) - 43,000
02. [360] Final Fantasy Xiii-2 (Square Enix Europe) - 37,000
03. [360] Metal Gear Solid Hd Collection (Konami) - 29,000
04. [PS3] Metal Gear Solid Hd Collection (Konami) - 27,000
05. [PSV] Uncharted: Golden Abyss (Sony Computer Ent.) - 27,000
06. [360] Battlefield 3 (Electronic Arts) - 26,000
07. [360] Fifa 12 (Electronic Arts) - 24,000
08. [WII] Just Dance 3 (Ubisoft) - 24,000
09. [360] Ufc Undisputed 3 (Thq) - 24,000
10. [360] Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Activision Blizzard) - 24,000

Look at those numbers and then tell me it´s Sony/Marketing/whatever fault when established franchises can´t sell for nothing.......and yes move is dead, PS3 is dead, thank god we have Wii, 360 and Kinect every week having spectacular numbers...... (not trying to defend Sony in any way shape or form, just exposing people making points based on positions rather then sales to elude ignorant people into being blind)

Fact is, videogames are taking a HUGE nose dive in UK this year, and the funny thing is I actually don´t see new consoles doing crazy numbers when they come out.

These figures are 90% of the market, still way overtracked in VGZ anyway.

I seen plenty of adverts for Sorcery on TV.

Dragon's Dogma only rated 12+ in UK?
