Hostess maker will make or break the game for me.  That's what made Yakuza 4 so manly.

Hostess maker was the only thing I hated about the game. I platinumed Yakuza 4 and in order to unlock all hostesses you have to bring all hostesses to no.1, and I found it soooooo repetitive.

I put a good 80 hours in the game last Summer. I could never get the last Trophy. I think it was defeating all bosses in under 17 minutes. I crack under pressure (time limit) which is why I hate racing games.

I remember. I checked for the strategies online and got in on my third attempt, so I didn't get frustrated or anything. Perhaps I was incredibly lucky. The last one was the worst by far.

Akiyama made Yakuza 4 girly, he was added to please increasing female Yakuza fan base in japan. So its not suprising you like him

The only awsome one besides Kiryu-chan was Saejima-san.

They did  good job with Akiyama's character regardless of his target audience. Akiyama is a very likable character and to hold his origin of creation against him is very hypocritical since you're a Raiden (MGS2) fan, and Raiden was created for the EXACT reason - to tend to the female crowd.

I'm not a Raiden fan! I didnt hate him, but didn't like him either (Hated in him in MGS4 tho). Same with Mr. A.

But I AM Saijima fanboy :)

See I was turned off. It took  me dozens of tries to finally get the patern down. I did it! I finally defeated all the bosses in under 17 minutes ... at least  I thought I did it, but then they threw Kiryu's master at the end. That was a punch to the dick because I was never mentally prepared for that. And once I have a mental block I become very stubborn and give up. I had like 10 seconds left to fight him every time I got to him. Add to that how fucking hard he was.

I can understand how annoying it can be, considering you have to start all over again every 17 minutes, so you get less than 4 attempts per hour. If you need a dozen of attempts then it's normal to give up. At least it's not a main part of the game.
