Honestly the Wiimote is the most useless junk I have ever seen. I tried to play Xenoblade with it once it was a pain, hadn't the classic controller been included it would have been impossible to play it. The Gamepad seems way better but for a limited number of genres : the ones that aren't played real time. But it could certainly be extremely great for RPGs.

The video skit at least was suppose to be bad. But unfortunatly there are some people like that. The pro-controller sounded like it was for the other players. (p2-to-p4) They will still use the Upad for player 1, since all games will have Miiverse integration.

So the Pre Controller is a compremise of sorts for those who didn't want to use the WiiMote for multiplayer games.

Games that require more than two classic controllers. Like if they start selling Game Cube downloadable games on the Wii U store.
