Wiiu can't handle two controllers at once.

Update: In a follow-up, Nintendo Japan has posted on Twitter that there's a price to pay if two Gamepads are active. Frame rates drop to about 30 fps if two are active; any games that really want that extra controller won't be quite as glass-smooth. On the upside, it's possible to switch one off with a smooth transition; there won't be a need for theatrics just to switch to a solo game.

WiiU keeps getting worse and worse.

haha oh wow..that was one of the best announcements during the conference too

I think Nintendo wanted to make this one disappointing overall so next year could look amazing in comparison.

hahaha, this is a possibility I guess.

And reading more, it seems that Nintendo did underwhelm quite a bit. Bad e3 overall.

What would you expect? The GamePad is powerful on it's own. Of course it'll take a toll on the console!

Nintendo's consoles has always been about playing with friends; the fact that you can't play WiiU with your friends properly is highly disappointing.

Isn't 30 FPS still smooth? I know 60 FPS is best but seriously, how bad is 30 FPS?

Sounds like something in the stages of the Wii U remake... Wii UW!

Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward = best game ever made.
