Also it's hyped as the game is supposedly the canonical sequel to Aliens. Unsure if that means 3 and Ressurection are being retconned or rather the game merely takes place after Aliens.

It's one of my most wanted games.

Well, let's hope they use the extra time to make an even better game.

It is pretty sad. I noticed a big decrease in the throwing around of the term graphics whore since the 3DS and Wii U came around. Coincidence, I think not. Anyways, nothing beats the Aliens series for originality in horror. It influenced so many films and games in the sci fi genre after it came out it is a legend. That is why people care because it was the practically the first of its kind.

I doubt GTA 5 will be coming out this holiday... too many other big games still, and this gen R* has been all about releasing their big titles in the spring (GTAIV, RDR, LA Noire, Max Payne 3) where there is hardly any competition.

Also, with no new consoles from M$ and Sony until late '13 at the absolute earliest, it's in the interest of both companies, as well as that of third parties, to spread their major software releases out over the next 12-18 months to keep the momentum they both currently have going, and to stave off the Wii U's impact on their sales.
