Is there a release date yet? as it depends entirely on that.

I suspect it will be launched in November/December as with the Wii, in which case it should manage around 2 million.

As many as they can produce / ship before the end of the year. I'd say 4+ mil worldwide easily if all 3 major territories get a simultaneous launch.

You are right, it's hard to predict its sales without knowing the games that it will have at its launch window. Only after E3 we will be able to make some resonable predictions.
