Yeah... I'll stick to brands like Samsung and LG which are garantueed quality for a good price while bringing new technologies to market fast.

I agree. Also on a side note, GAME OF THRONES is DOPE!!! Only two more episodes left this season.

how is this good news when they will be 3 years late to the market?

"Dream come true"
On 2015? Not the best dream..

Yeah I don't understand what Sony/Panasonic are doing by being so late to the market.

Still I mentioned this in another thread, but Sony collaborating more with former Japanese rivals is a trend I think Kaz Hirai might push the next few years.

If Vita never recovers and 3DS sees its market influence dramatically slashed by the rise iPad/iPhone/Android ... I really could see a Nintendo + Sony alliance developing.

I know people will say that's crazy today, but this also seemed beyond impossible in the 90s:

Seeing that Sony already have quited oel earlier this year: http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/business/T120107003536.htm
because of the manufacturing costs in Japan and they lagged behind the south korean manufactures... Wouldn't this be like tying two Titanics together and hope that they float?

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Shouldn't Sony be looking to cut unprofitable departments, rather than pour in tons more cash to invest in a venture that's 3 years too late? They were late to the show with LCD, and look where that got them...

This is a fair point though, lol. I think Sony is probably in for a few more years of losses.
