KZ2 is most cinematic game in 2008 after MGS4, maybe even better.
KZ2 is amazing in all ways.

what in KZ2 you don`t like, that you think it won`t be amazing?

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

the thing is what if killzone 2 suffers the same problems that killzone 1 had

Killzone 1 is the reason I don't think the game will be amazing. The 100 man development team is why I don't think it will be amazing. The fact that they are so unbelievably quiet about the game that is supposed to be close to release is why I doubt it. Because I need proof before I believe a studio can go from making mediocre games to top-notch games in the blink of an eye. And because no matter how good a game looks, and cinematic a game is the gameplay (which is the most important aspect) can still suck hard.

So I guess you don't have any reason other than it looks pretty to believe it will be amazing then? Or do you just not feel like explaining to the rest of us why this game will be fun to play.

Killzone 2 was hyped to hell, but after last year's great FPS quality I think the anticipation for KZ2 died down a bit. I mean, if you're going to compare it to games like Bioshock, Crysis, COD4, Metroid Prime 3, Quake Wars, Gears of War, Halo 3 and Stalker, some of the hype will definitely disappear.

I just read the gamepro review...go read it, thats why the game is going to be insane. And I don't hear any complaints about the gameplay..so the game is great in all factors. No Arguments.

i aslo think resistance 2 will steal some of its hype

 Well thank you for that. I suspect Crazzy would have never answered on his own, so I am glad I got to understand why some people are over hyping the game.

 Tell me this is a joke post please. I would bet that the game doesn't even have the best graphics of 2008. If you managed to port it perfectly. and managed to by some miracle preserve every aspect of the game (including screen resolution and all graphical whatnots and length and online experience) it could not win GOTY on any platform. RFOM2 will kill this franchise once and for all.

And you right it won't have the best graphics of 2008, gran turismo 5 will. Then I just like SOCOM and have high expectations.

 And it still is not as good as DMC1. It is also from a developer that is known to create really good games like Megaman, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and Strret Fighter just to name a few. What game has Guerrilla Games put out that would make you believe they can deliver a blockbuster? Just one great game and I will reconsider my position. The reason Killzone 2 will be mediocre at best is because all of their games have been mediocre at best.

 Seriously? Better than MGS4, GT5, RE5, SC4, Gears 2, SSBB, and more games that I am forgetting? I just don't see it. I can see it being a good game, but the studio just doesn't seem to have the skill to pop out a game in the same league as the other games I listed.
