Yup.
Sony tooks Nintendos lame Nintendo 64 analog stick and doubled it. It's been standard in gamepads ever since.

I'd say this is a pretty fair vantage point. I'd like it to sell well because that will probably cause Nintendo to have to think outside the box on their next iteration (after the wii u and 3ds version). Hopefully Sony injects some cool new innovations for the genre.

So less than the first Uncharted? Nah. I'd say it has a chance to do 5 million lifetime. It all depends on how hard Sony pushes this game and how much post-release support it gets.
I hope it does outsell ssbb so they keep on making them. Sony needs this title to help push there characters and help ppl love the sony brand again.
this is little big planet all over again, people claiming ridiculous numbers but in the end this game will be lucky to hit 2 millions, the potential in this one is way lower then little big planet

I wonder why people are counting non-sony IPs as possible characters in this game. I don't think Square Enix or many third parties for that matter, will allow their characters to be in the game ((I could be wrong)). Especially since it's the first iteration of the game. We may get Crash Bandicoot... If we're lucky
I do think the game will sell descent enough to call for a sequel, but not for it to be a threat to the SSB
