Okay now guys,

"MONSTER", which seems to be quite popular in the US, has made its way over to other nations aswell (quite some time ago, but whatever), and i always resisted buying it, since i dont get the point in buying.. well.. a simple energydrink for 1,79€/500ml (which is like .. 17fl oz? .. AMERICA, Y U NO HAVE Millilitres? *Insert trolldude pic here*) seems damn pricey, the only thing that is above is Red Bull, with 1,99€/500ml. (around 2,60 US Dollars).. but yeah, it happened that i just bought a can of Monster, since i want to know what all that fuzz is about, and while drinking, my only thought was; "This.. This is it?" and i was rather dissapointed. Not that it tasted bad, no, it was quite enjoyable to be honest, but it isnt really different from the local stuff, which is three times less the price. (1,39€/1500ml)

Maybe i am missing something, but i guess its just a "cool drink" for younger people, but its definetly not something i would invest so much money into. (Since a Can a day would mean an investment of around 50€, which is almost a fullprice game, so i stick to 1,5 litres of Coke a day.. that addiction is cheaper to pay. )

Yeah it tastes quite good, but it's nothing special.

Second of all monster is a shit tier energy drink with the highest advertising budget out of all energy drinks.
Go and try NOS energy drink. It's like a tangerine/grapefruit energy drink, and it's usually cheaper than the rest too.

And stop drinking coke. If you want caffeine, get mio energy liquid, or something like that.

Or learn to like coffee. I get mine with skim and one sugar. 20 fl ounces for 1.79$ iced and delicious.

Monster energy is garbage compared to what else is on the market. It's so overly sweet, you're practically drinking carbonated syrup. Guess that explains why kids like it.

Feel like I just walked into an Evil Geniuses commercial, since they are sponsored by Monster and say it every time they are interviewed or on stream at all, at Starcraft tournaments. Apparently they have an actual garage full of free Monster.

Also Coke and many of these drinks are incredibly bad for you due to acid and sugar content. Drinking 1.5L of Coke per day is not 'normal', it's a treat and should be consumed as such!

I drink one cup of coke per week.
1 20oz iced coffee per day. And everything else is water or alcohol.

Sugar is bad for you. Very bad.

I drink those sometimes, they're good, I like Red Bull better. Oh, I just tried AMP, and it tastes really good. Though I rarely drink any of them because they're incredibly bad for you and too expensive.

The only energy drink I have ever tried is Lucozade... at least assuming it is classed as an energy drink because I don't think it's on the same level as things like Red Bull and Relentless.

NOS is the very best Pjams. You think amp is good? I used to think so too.

NOS > Rockstar > Amp > Monster

Red Bull is in its own category since as an energy drink it's meh, but with alcohol it's woohoo.
