I can think of a million energy drinks way better than monster, it is owned by coca-cola and hence is popular due to their big budget advertising. In reality they taste disgusting. I will take black coffee first, amp ;), or Spike a very powerful drink that is way tastier and made in my home state. Those drinks were so popular when I was in college.

It's an energy drink, what did you really expect? They're all pretty terrible.

I never had one before, to be honest. I did used to drink Red Bull. The first time I drank one, I felt like running around the world. I was talking really fast and I had to slow myself down. That never happened again, though. It didn't really have any effect on me anymore. After my fourth or fifth one, I just stopped buying them. Those things were twice as much as a soda (which I also quit drinking) with half the content and a horrible taste. They're really unhealthy, too.

I hear they are great when mixed with alcohol and I always wanted to try but I never did. I probably never will.
