There is no excuse if someone like Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studios can put out games like this while others can't even understand how develop for the greatest console hardware ever made.
They learn it or they just get less money cause lazyness shouldn't get payed that much....If those Devs would work hard every game could look like that on the PS3.

And of course its still nice to see someone can keep up with Naughty Dog.
Its probably nice for all those studios to work on the strongest hardware available and not thinking about other stuff.Just go all out as you please.
Really would love to see what they could do with a PC and a GTX680
Team Nomura is surely jelly cause he probably can't bring his Versus13 to the PS3 Exclusive - Probably the only 3rd Party Dev that could reach Sony Exclusive Studio quality.


Actually from the tiny bit thats been shown Halo 4 is looking like a for sure contender for top 5 best looking console games this generation.

 

But thats besides the point and has nothing to do with God of War Ascension so we'll leave it at that.

not to forget god of war has controlled camera and nowhwere the same freedom as halo

Thats not a valid argument cause if you think about it, the camera is not fixed at one point in a certain area. It spins around, zooms in and out  and its a gameplay decision more than one focused on making the graphics better.

So at first the trailer seemed like it was some sort of cooperative mode to me, but I found out it was actually teams of four taking capture points? And there's supposed to be some kind of perk system as well? Now that has me more interested than coop play. I wonder if it will allow split screen play like Uncharted 3 for multiplayer.

It looks brighter and more colorful than GOW III. The animations definitely look like they've been improved a lot aswell.

Without a shadow of a doubt though it's the incredible AA that makes this shine. I mean is there any other console title that has AA as crisp as that? Everything looks so damn smooth.

Wow simply wow what i saw yesterday. Well if the graphics look that great on the multiplayer how will the Singleplayer look like.

Santa Monica did the same as they did with God of war 2. Release the game so late in the gen to show everyone what the console is capable off.

My mind is blown away by that zyklope monster and the kill of that gigantic monsters was absolutely outstanding.

How can it look so freaking good? We don't need next gen consoles in a very long time.

I am so happy they made this to the PS3, to give this fabulous generation an even longer life.

Also I'm happy for the multiplayer but it puts a huge amount of pressure on the other hack'n'slash developers out there who might make half-hearted attempts on multiplayer and lose resources on singleplayer.

I'm playing it for the first time...in HD..so it hell does make some difference I guess. Almost half way through..god of war 2  HD next !!

Ps3 getting there slowly(now my favourite console this gen)...with a couple of exclusives from ND and Santa Monica studios, it's sure to impress  further.
