Bolded: That was only an unlikely, yet possible scenario xD

Underlined: That's one of the main issues. There was no one there to teach him about God, so if believing in him is a requirement then I might as well have found the key to hell!

And on top of that, even now lots of people are born who are never gonna be tought about God. Is it their fault that they are going to hell?

You cannot prove that heaven does not exist either, and yet you take a jab at people for believing in something without empirical evidence also.

I don't belive in God, Heaven or Hell, but the impression I get from Christianity is that he was a sinner from the moment he was born and the only way to redeem himself would be to find Jesus. He didn't, so he would go to hell.

It is absolutely correct that God has no mercy for the unfortunate. He has no mercy for anyone unless they directly request it (at which point he has infinite mercy). This is the main problem I have with the whole "God is benevolent and the source of all morality" idea.

Your comment about santa claus etc was clearly a 'jab' at them.

And what facts can you provide me of heaven's existence or non-existence, or of the after-life in general? Your original argument in this thread is not based on 'facts' either, it is purely speculative, with a speculative situation and a speculative outcome. There are no facts in this thread.

What makes the Gospel different from a history book? Just because you don't believe in what is written in it doesn't mean they're not facts.

I assume you believe that Caesar existed, but you have no tangible proof of it, just written records
