I just watched GT.TV.
I have to admit, I was skeptical before I saw it on tv. But now that I seen it, I have MUCH more confidence in the game now.

I mean, it looks really fun, but it's so similar in such minute ways - ways in which it doesn't *have* to be similar - that one can't help but be taken aback. |
He has a super move that puts him in the jetpack and allows him to shoot from the first person. Totally different from Snake's final smash.
What it lacks in originality it has in awesome characters and a usuable online structure.
Time for hype
I chuckled when Geoff Keighley said "what if sony takes all its characters and threw them together in an all new BRAWL!"
Okay, that has got to be intentional! :D
Online multiplayer confirmed for up to 4 players.

The stages appear to be far more dynamic than other similar games, seeing the Patapon attack Hades was quite charming. It would be interesting if they make each character unique, for instance if the Fat Princess lost weight every time she is hit which in turn makes her faster.
Geoff Keighley was blown away with this? It looks too much like Smash Bros. (though I can't say that I'm surprised) for me to feel enthusiastic about it.
Food for thought: Shove an apple in your brain
