Xenoblade has crossed 200k in the States! Hopefully that's not too far from the truth.

This is almost depressing. A WW UP thread, barely making 40 posts after 10 hours, yet elimination threads are making nearly double that, continuously.

Is that what the forums have become? Do people no longer care about sales, bar a select few? I certainly hope not...

Actually, forget about that. Before today I would have said so, but there's DQX, isn't there?

Fine. All consoles bar Wii. I see it like (week it comes out, pessimistic):

3DS- 380k

PS3- 155k

360- 130k

PSV- 60k

DS- 25k

PSP- 30k

(Wii- 180k)

Everything together- 400k 

So the 3DS certainly has a chance to take everything combined, but it'll certainly outsell the PS3 by over 2:1.

Wait, what? I'm lost here. Wii 180k when DQ X arrives? Retailers in Japan won't have that stock for Wii. It's just not going to happen.

I would be very WARY of Xenoblade's numbers guys. I have a feeling once NPD rolls on in for the month of April....the numbers won't be as kind.

And why would they be 'less kind'? I'm thinking 170-185k in all honesty, including next week. VGC will have it at around 230k by then.

Wii will be performing around 7k in Japan before DQ. The normal push can be get it to 30k, with bundles (being generous) add another 50k, and let's say that sales outside Japan are 50k, that's a total of 130k units.

I think you underestimate DQ. The DS version sold 2.35mil in one day, and boosted the DS by 120k WW, despite only launching in Japan that day.
