Both games existed for the DS, however the first one was enchanced for the 3DS. 

Lestadark might like this news (if this is the person that was discussing localization with half a year ago. 

As proud owner of both, I definately recommend them, especially if you like Strategy RPGs or fantastic sci fi stories.


I do recommend after playing Overclocked and just getting the recent NA release of Devil Survivor 2, prep yourself for the drop back down to the DS quality.

The two games were actually being worked on around the same time so they share somethings but be ready for no voice work in number 2, graphics obviously take a dive and while not really related to the looks, Devil Survivor 2 is a bit harder then Overclocked at first.

But both excellent games.

I already own the original for DS (imported it last year), so I'll be passing on Overclocked. I will definitely pick up the second game for the DS though.

I really hope Ghostlight picks up Devil Summoner 3DS port as well for a PAL release, damn region locking...
