Lynching somebody new just for being new (and maybe not knowing what to do or not having enough time atm) would not encourage them to play a second time.
Just saying.

That is why we usually don't lynch newbies day one, the problem is that we have a lot of them around now - while I would prefer not to lynch a new player, this time arround it will be hard to do so - and if we do so, he should at least be lurky^^
So after re-reading the last.......i have no idea how many pages i just got through.. anyways:
Happy D: Still my no1 lynch choice for reasons i said earlier, but now he even said we have 2 mafia factions!
So even if the magical fortune cookie actually existed in this game didn't even have chance to use it
Radish: 90% sure he's scum, i know mafia radish and i think he's here this round.
Dodging any hints about roles no mater how small and reverting to "please believe me for the good of the town"
defence when cornered, revenge voting and then unvoting.
Final-Fan: Reserved when mafia very outspoken when town, and he has been too quiet so far
Basil: I thought he was joking about being, but looks like he .......wasn't? Is he coming back?
do we lynch him?
MUGEN: Needs to invest more in this thread and less in the Vita thread.

I didn't say it's bad to lynch a newbie. I only think it's bad to lynch him because he's not active.
If a newbie is active and suspicious, then I see no problem.
But on the other hand I also understand that you want to get rid of the lurkers, if they're not contributing... Hard decision.

I think he is pretty active - by his standards, it only drowns under the other conversations
@stefl
I didnt say he's lurking. I meant he's not very aggresive and outspoken.
FF as town is like Hat & Proff devil child.

Yeah, but only on later days - the first day he just spends with saying something :D

Nen, you and mario are making the same mistake... Don't be so sloppy.
I never claimed I used a role or an item to figure that out. smh town really really sucks to play in.
I said guys, I figured it out through deduction and I gave my reasoning. See my case against basil, as of here:

Go to the prior pages, do a search on the word "monk", and you'll find the string of posts. To help you townies (because you're not playing hard and finger-pointing too easily), here is the string of posts in my case against Basil (I'll follow Wonk's example):

I wouldn't play a mafia game if I didn't feel that I had enough time to read every single post. ..... On another note, I feel most comfortable lynching either HappyDolphin or Basil today. Actually, I would even feel comfortable with a double lynch on both of them. There is no way we should go with a no lynch with all this activity we have to work with. It is obvious to me that both of them messed up, or they simply don't know what they are doing. Being first time players here on VGC, I'm leaning towards both options being true. I'll keep my vote as is for now. |
You seem much too eager to lynch scum but your recklesness could easily hit townsfolk. Your case against me is weak, and right now I fear both Mafia and town. The Mafia are probably much smarter than you (given what we have so far) and have already figured out my role, meanwhile town still doesn't get it and is ready to lynch me on weak cases.
So I say, good luck town.
happydolphin: Claims he knew who the mafia were (humans) because his power role implied it before he even got a chance to use it yet. I am well aware that his roles description could imply he was looking to find humans if he was a cop, but he admits he is not. I think he is mafia who has made a simple mistake early on and is trying his hardest to cover it up. He even stated he didn't want to talk anymore and just sit back and watch. He is probably afraid he will mess up again. |
I already explained this to two people already. Mario, you officially don't understand anything and can't read between the lines. Whether town or not you're a liability.
Here I explained that to Rol, then to nen:
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4525971 to rol
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4526901 to nen
In other words, the inside knowledge had nothing to do with my role, but with the fact that I had a role, a role for which I had a backstory which gave me scum flavor.
I also already explained that too to prof: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4526407
Suddenly you know that there are two fractions? I'm not buying your story at all. You have a role, which isn't cop, that can tell what the fractions are when no one else was aware of the fractions. I think you are mafia that messed up, and now you are trying to cover yourself in any way possible. |
I told you, read the post 2 above this one, I did my homework and came up to that conclusion in my case against basil.
The fact that you think I used my ability to figure that out makes me feel like either:
1) You didn't get it, which makes you a liability to town, since they have no place to discuss in privacy.
2) You are fabricating excuses to get weaker townies to lynch me. You would be anti-town, i.e. pokemon catcher.
Either way, you are in my top list to lynch wether town or mafia.
So, your real foes are not the mafia, but the townies. Interesting. |
Yes, townies that don't play carefully would lynch me easily. Mafia is now becoming a bigger threat the more such townies lay their fingers and hands of suspicion, nay even their votes on me. My position is really compromised at this point.
