But the original question wasn't how many GOW games the has been on the PS3, but how many GOW games has been released "THIS GEN".

And the answer to that question is 3. You cant just leave out the PSP games, as they are still in the same style, they are from this gen, they are not remakes of older GoW etc.

It would be like if MS released an exclusive Halo FPS game on Windows (Since you added Windows), it would still be included as Halo game from this gen.

Anyway both games are not being milked. And like pezus said, if they can keep up the great quality i wish they would milk them more.

Yes and i said there has been only one GOW game on PS3 this gen. And if you're gonna include PSP GOW games why not include Halo games for a cell phone ? It makes about as much sense

Its pretty clear this is going no where fast. are the PSP GOW games not from this gen?, do they not follow the same story and gameplay style of the other GOW games?. Plus the is no Halo game on the mobile phone, or atleast not that i know of?.

Anyway ill say it one more time and this is the last. The has been 3 GOW games this gen (That is what the original question was, not how many is on the PS3).

So i don't see why you keep bringing this up when its clear what the original posters question was, and its clear what the answer is, so why do you keep arguing about this?, its like your trying to make it look like the PSP games doesn't exist

Do you mean the GoW cell phone games?, cos the is no Halo cell phone games so i dont see how thats me trying to make them look like they dont exist -_- .

Update for God of War fans:
The new God of War Director has revealed some new Informations about God of War: Ascension. He said they will change Kratos´ model and appereance. The will use new camera angles and the new game will be as long as the first one, about 5-10 hours. Well imo thats a bit short :/. And they will change the battle-, Weapon system and the game mechanics.

22 pages...noooot reading that many. Are people arguing about how many games there have been and how Sony is milking the franchise? Probably. That's what the internet likes to do whenever a new game from a long running series is announced.
To each their own narrow view of the world I suppose.

For me...I can't wait for this one. God of War 3 was the first game in the series I just said "Screw this, I'm going hardcore" and jumped straight into the high difficulty setting and had a damn blast with it.
I had a good time with all 5 God of War games and will continue to have fun with this one, multiplayer and all. I'd love for Kratos to have some fun in a more Viking inspired theme, like the old Rune game, but that's just my hope.

Long as it's entertaining, I believe there's place in this industry for both sequels and new IPs and franchises.

Agreed, you just can't get enough of God of War! The same with MGS, there should be MGS5 and 6 and 7 etc!
