Hmmm... having passed by a Nintendo Power at Barnes & Noble (and not having time to actually read it..) it looks like they're talking about Sonic RPG.. something which was announced a long time ago.

It can't be Sonic RPG because it has indeed already been announced. NP said this title is "so engrossing, so epic, and so hush-hush that we’d have to erase your memories if we told you what it is."

I'm going to be disappointed if it's not Kingdom Hearts 3 or Golden Sun 3
or maybe when they said "make RPG fans cry" they could have ment there arn't
going to be any good RPGs for a while
