They ruined the Command & Conquer franchise. So thats why I dislike them.

But games like Dead Space are also great. It's a love/hate relationship

EA buys Westwood

EA cancels C&C 3, closes Westwood and places all the devs from westwood and some other studios under EA LA

EA LA makes C&C generals, a spin-off, not bad at all imo.

EA LA makes two LOTR battle for middle earth games which were pretty good imo!

Then EA LA makes C&C 3, a game spit out of hell's cunt. This game completely destroyed the C&C franchsie.

Too true. Don't forget Red Alert 3. That was piss poor. One of my favourite franchises turned to liquid shit almost overnight.

I didn't even bother with Red Alert 3 (or C&C 4). I will ALWAYS hate EA for what they did to westwood :(

I could make a whole thread why EA sucks and why I boycotted them in the late 90s. However, I only have to mention the awesome games they left to rot (Road Rash, Desert Strike, Magic Carpet, General Chaos) while milking other ips, and the countless ips they ruined after buying out other companies such as Westwood, Bullfrog, etc..

I have massive debt, work in manufacturing industry in USA that will lay people off on the drop of a dime, have very few friends, don't like most people, hate almost everything USA society props up, don't like the political system in USA at all (hate the two party system, both major parties, and the electoral college), have 17k+ in student loan debt for a degree that I have yet to even get a job in the field, etc..  If you want me to keep going I can easily.  However, there are people in far worse situations.  Basically, everyone has fucking problems.

EA is not that bad they publish some of my fav games, I dont hate them IMO Activision is the only publisher that derserves hate. Day 1 DLC, online passes is some something everyone does now.
