Loading time = Peeing time. Just thank video game companies for the chance to piss.

Isn't that what the pause button is for xD

For us old school players. New kids don't even know what "Pause" is.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Nah, the loading times are fine.

Food for thought: Shove an apple in your brain

Not at all. I don't feel them different than ps3 games (for particular games) but either way it wouldn't be a big issue for me.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Starting up a game can have pretty long load times, but generally in game loading is fast. Wipeout was seen as the worst for loading. Most games are comparable to home console load times but generally in game can be fast. These are also launch games so it could have something to do with time restrictions on development because the Vita does boast the hardware to handle loading. Resistance burning skies was claimed to be a game with no to practicly no loading times in game. They've had plenty of time to develop it so I would assume they care pulling that off. Current games are no idication that loading times will be an issue for he vast majority of future Vita games, but there are still crapy developers so it's never avoidable.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I got MVC3, Virtua Tennis 4, Super Stardust HD, Uncharted, and Ninja Gaiden. No problem with load times for me. I can overlook issues when I love something, though.

The only game on Vita that has unbearable load times was Wipeout 2048; they did have the intelligence to patch it, though.

Uncharted Golden Abyss has a hefty minute or so start screen load, but after that I don't recall seeing load times at all. Rayman's load times were short, and they let you hop, skip, and jump around a minimap while you wait the 10 seconds or so per level, which is nothing. MLB 12 the show has hefty initial load times, but beyond that nothing serious. Little Deviants was practically nonexistent. oh, ModNation Racers was kinda hefty, load times kinda sucked on it (Racing games seem to be the issue here.)

As for Download games, Sumioni was longer than I wanted to wait, but super stardust delta and Mutant Blobs Attack both had like no loading times.

So I'd say the ratio is about t he same on the Vita as it is on the Wii, PS3, or 360.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

WipeOut 2048 was pretty awefull prepatch, now it only takes about 48% of the time it took earlier (I know because the loading bar just pops to 100% from 48% and previously it was continuesly slow until 100%) - game has gotten better since, like really better - the other games I have are making no issues at all

Wipeout is pretty long but Rayman takes a few seconds

I have Fifa Football, its one of the shortest loadtimes Ive seen, loads really fast.

Loading times are a pretty normal issue at the start of a new console's life.
