Forums - Nintendo - Why do you love Nintendo?

my love of nintendo stems from one and the same thing really:

i started gaming on nintendo systems and nintendo owns franchises most beloved to me (because i grew up with them)

as an interesting tidbit, it all started for me with my gameboy pocket :)

- Mario (2D, 3D, Kart, Party, Tennis), Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero and Super Smash Bros are the main reasons.

- I was introduced through the NES, and the N64 and Gameboy shortly after.

Edit: I suppose Star Fox could be added to the list.

Pokemon & Mario

Nintendo has created the two biggest gaming franchises ever! and this is why i love them

SNES and N64 classic franchises, I played them all at the time (all but Super Metroid actually). Prior to that I had a NES (Famicom) and I particularly had enjoyed Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 3.

All games produced or lead by Shigeru Miyamoto in any way have always meant something special to me. And Rare, back in middle and late 90's (when partially owned by Nintendo) was so full of win!

I hope you've played Super Metroid since, it is an eternal classic. And Rare, man they WERE Nintendo back then. Their games were, well, I can't say it better than you, ... so full of win!

more fan!!!!!

I love Nintendo because of Zelda, Mario, Kirby, Pokemon, F-zero, Metroid, primarly. I was introduced about 15 years ago by a school friend playing Pokemon on Game Boy Color

Expertly crafted video games that are able to stand the test of time.

Agreed. With very few exceptions, Nintendo games are the only games I find myself going back to once a generation is over.
