When did Sony ever announce that? Don't badmouth a site without backing up your words with sources.

sony and ms announced their sales, i dont remember when, dont care. sony says 64 mil ms says 67 mil.  also sony says 1.8 mil for vita. but vgchartz never reflected those numbers. look it up for yourselves. i wont do it for you. vgchartz putsony sales higher than sony themselves said were sold. sorry, but its the truth. this site should be called sonychartz.lol. do your own research. dickhead.so ms says 67 mil. vgchartz puts it as such. sony says 64 mil and 1.8 mil but puts them down as 65 mil and 2.3 mil. hmmmmm sony doesnt know how many their own systems are selling, or vgchartz are posting bogus numbers. that is all. let the flames begin......

you often did

@itsme

I like how you dropped the number to 1.8 from 1.9 and compared it to vgc's numbers from last month. It was 1.8 as of the end of March and vgc does make adjustments. Vgc tracked about 700k vitas sold since the end of march which would pin them at having 1.8 around the end of March. That might not have been the case at the time but Sony's announcement was made almost 2 weeks out from March and if you go by the bar graph on the home page that number rounds up at a certain point if I remember. So if Sony says 1.8 a week has gone by and adjustments were not figured out it could easily look like 1.9 or even 2.1 on vgc. I do remember vita being 2 million at one point and dropping to 1.9 just to go back to 2 the following week. They made the adjustment and if you can't handle the fact that this isn't an exact science maybe you should give this a rest because I doubt your behavior right now is very appreciated.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Cough.

Phahahaha, o look here's a surprise, Kowenicki is posting some 'positive' 360 news, well i never. Don't worry, once next weeks sales are added the gap will be below 2 million again.

still no 360 adjustments?

It is below 2 million once again.

Will this be it? Or will the cycle continue once more? :P

For those of you who are trying to compare this gen to last gen in regards to Sony is only doing so to downplay the potential surpassing of Xbox 360 sales. This just shows how important the Xbox 360 being ahead of the PS3 is that important to you.This gen is this gen and last gen is last gen, two different gens that have different offerings. It's that simple. I for one do not care when the PS3 surpasses the Xbox 360 in sales or what place it's in. In its current third place status, The PS3 has offered more quality software support than any past third place console. Also, its software offerings it at least on par with its competitors. So without actually researching hardware sales numbers, you wouldn't know that the PS3 is in third when its software selelction is at least as strong as the competition. The biggest success factor here is how close PS3 sales are to the Xbox 360 when you consider all the blunders the PS3 faced earlier in this gen, all the advantages the Xbox 360 had over the PS3,, Microsoft's "deep pockets," and Sony's financial woes. This the reality of this gen. So congrats to Sony and the PS3 for plowing through it all to keep giving us a terrific gaming experience.
