was this thread even needed? I fail to see the purpose of this thread when we already know the amounts for HW over at the NPD thread..and vita sales are far from dismal as some said or even hoped ..sony just doesn't seem to give a shit about npd pr unless they are number 1

I actually would say 200k for your first full month in the North American market is fairly dismal. That suggests that the median monthly rate for the Vita to settle into over here will be 150k/month or less once the launch honeymoon wears off.

yep, it's sold more then 1.5m ww since its launch, so that's success to me.
