On the software side, Electronic Arts' Mass Effect 3 unsurprisingly took the top spot with Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City coming in second with 582,000 units sold.

I don´t know to what extent reviews help a game sell.RE ORC has a 53 score on metacritic, which is pretty poor.

Has anyone here played the game?...surprised at these numbers?

I´ve been reading a few angry comments on other gaming sites, saying the game doesn´t deserve those numbers while Revelations does but is not getting much attention outside Japan.

I actually found the game pretty damn fun. Not amazing by any means certainly about a 7.5 imo.

The online is actually surprisingly awesome.

Yeah half of the neo gaf npd thread posts are negative reactions about the game his sales :s

Can't comment on it, didn't really played it :s. But if it is really that bad we should hope that the devs will not change RE 6 more to this game because of the sales..
