I did end up getting Game Dev Story. it's simple but pretty great. Made 30 games in one workday.

So Star Command is a terrible disappointment. What I wanted was a game of space exploration. Turns out that's too hard, so the developers made an incredibly clunky RTS instead.

Well, in a sad turn of events, my iPhone just died. Won't turn on or respond at all. I don't think I'll be playing GameDevStory ever again.

Will be checking out Sorcery! later on. I really like those fighting fantasy style games.

Turn-based strategy set in the skies of WWI. Looks awesome.

My old iphones sometimes hanged.. Seemingly dead.. Sometimes plugin it in the charger would help.. Sometimes it took an hour.. Sometimes the reboot sequence would help by pressing the home button and top button together.. And last and least the dreaded factory restore sequence by pressing home and top together and then releasing one of them (can't remember) but it wipes the data..
