Yo dawg, I heard you like shmups, so I put four shmups in your shmup:

The big launches this week (besides Raiden mentioned above) include Modern Combat 4:

And GTA: Vice City:

One more, Renegade Kid brings Mutant Mudds over from the 3DS:

Still no Baldur's Gate on my iPad, though. I guess the app snagged an app store restriction somehow. T_T

Baldur's Gate is finally out! No iPad 1 or iOS 5 support yet, though (and what are you doing with that iPad 1?):

Youtube doesn't seem to offer the old embed code anymore, so I have a feeling the embed above won't work on this site. Video here:

I'm holding the fort down, so just lean back and stop enriching those greedy phone carriers.

This is interesting. A new company called Industrial Toys founded by Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian has announced a project called Morning Star. Built with Unreal, Industrial Toys promises it to be a "re-imagining of the sci-fi shooter for touch." I'm all for a re-imagining of touch shooters — the console-inspired control scheme we've been fed so far doesn't do it for me — but I hope that isn't code for "on rails."

Yes, both iPhone and iPad versions of their games are currently being given away to celebrate the holiday season.

As a side note, I noticed the community is growing little by little. Niceee~
