Beatdown! looks fantastic.
Also, for those of you with phones but no iPad, Bastion just got a universal update. The kid didn't wait around before downloading it to his phone.

Cool thread man. I just came at the right place. Hope to hear also from people who are into iOS gaming and share the games they love.
As a starter i would like to suggest this new game I'm currently into. Well, this is not actually for hardcore gamers (i mean those who love explosions, gore,blood,magic,etc.) but this one is really interesting and challenging. The game actually is "Norm's Big Escape". I would say this is a perfect pass time game but in my case I actually got hooked (felt like "OK, just one more game and let's see if I can beat my old score...hahaha). Me and my friends just started having our own "competition" of who can achieve the highest score ('cause you can post your score on Facebook/Twitter if you feel like bragging your high score to your fellas!)
Worth playin' dude. At first my $0.99 will be put to waste but I'm dead wrong. This game will surely last for a long time on my iPhone (hahahaha).

I just got a new iPhone, so I'm excited to check out this thread. I haven't had a chance to look through all of the pages yet, so sorry if this has already been talked about, but I want to throw some support behind the game Jack Lumber.
Its like a more advanced version of Fruit Ninja. Its a very small simple game, but I've been having a lot of fun with it:

Sooooo... Beatdown! looks cool, but plays pretty poorly. Some gameplay and control tweaks might turn things around, but right now I'm gonna have to unrecommend it.
The game that's eating up all my time is Lost Star Tactics. It's not much to look at or for story, but if you want a great strategy gameplay with a levelling system attached, I don't know of a better one on the App Store.
