The children's support conversation for the variable parent n siblings is the same though (cause Nintendo lazy), atleast it seems that way thus far. I haven't done all possible conversations of course so I can't say for certain. And yes that's exactly how the reclassing spiel works.

So Lucina will always talk to a sibling who is afraid of bugs and uses the Falchion for an apple? At least that applies to Kjelle. It still annoys me that Chrom all of a sudden decided to marry Sully.

Same thing happened with Cynthia, but I would think it'd be different for the guys since you know, we're not afraid of measly little bugs. :P

Apparently Chrom marries whoever he has the highest supports with at the end of chapter 11. I first thought he would always marry Sumia as that's what the story leans towards. It's definitely trying to push that pairing as both Sumia n Chrom are limited in the number of people they could potentially marry.

Even the guys are afraid of the bugs.

They're not real men. :L

Hey Brady tries...

But having gone through a few variations, I can confirm it is always the same conversations with certain kids and their father, Luciana and her mother plus her siblings all have the same type of convos as well. I haven't hooked my female Avatar up yet so I don't know if any of male Morgan's convos over lap with .female but I doubt it.

I'm starting to think Nintendo's being lazy on purpose. >.>

On a side note, when will we be able to add this game to our currently playing list?

reclassing and grinding

The xp you gain gets less and less as you reclass. Not sure if you people have the patient to grind more than 5 times.

If you can spare some chump change on DLC, you can get the experience doubling Paragon skill (from the Lost Bloodlines 3 map) and the EXPonential Growth map which'll speed up the process immensely.

On yet another side note, is there a way to get more of those boots that permanently increase movement by two? I've only ever gotten one from a chapter that I forget. Also who did you guys use it on? In my first file I chose good ol Cynthia. I guesstimated that the kids would become stronger than their parents so it was going to be one of them. As we all know I has a thing for Flyers and being that she was the only kid who started as one it was a natural choice. Plus I likes her personality n all that. Also, she can be two of the best classes for it, again Flyer which can get the most out of the additional movement, and also a General, whose main flaw is low mobility which'll be negated with the boots.

boots

I think there are 2 of them in the whole game and no way to get more.

Technically, having unique conversations for all the potential fathers is crazy, although at least from what I've seen, they do add certain changes to keep the dialogue for each sounding somewhat in character.

They did go lazy on the Spotpass characters you can recruit only being able to speak to your avatar however and I read in an interview they did admit it was easier to not add visible feet to the models to get them to move like they wanted without it.

even though i live in the USA i just finally got around to picking it up today

Having a bit of difficulty with Chapter 5, but that's my error not that of the game. Still getting the hang of the double up technique, but starting to get back into the swing of it!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Aww bummer. I just don't feel likes recruiting spotpass characters a billion times, but I suppose it would be worth it.

@NoirSon:

They did a ton of unique conversations already so another ton shouldn't be a big deal. The fact that they slighty changed the dialogue urks me even more. They may aswell have just made new conversations, but of course do a half job instead. They also only half voice acted the game if even that, a problem almost every nintendo game shares. Again, no reason to do a half job here, especially when you have paid VAs right there fully capable of reading full sentences. Perhaps there's a bit more to it than that, but we all have conversations all the time so it can't be that complicated. Well atleast they can actually speak unlike a certain dude in a green tunic. >.>

This is a problem that many JRPGs share - too much dialogue, and little willingness to record it all.

At least Nintendo assembled a pretty decent, experiened cast. Matthew Mercer as Chrom = awesome.
