3DS lauched in March 27  sold 398k

So these Vita numbers mean it had a very small drop from Feb (launch) 225k, slow and steady

best to remember that 3DS had no competition almost 100 dollars cheaper that been out for a year with a larger library by defaut to compete with. I'd say all things considered the Vita is doing ok in the West, hardly had any drop at all from it launch which aint bad, hopefully it's keeps steady until E3 when Sony announces thier fall plans

3DS sold 194,000 in its first full month april 2011.
So Vita looks to be slightly ahead, both are doomed

in may 2011, the 3ds sold just 97,000. We'll see if vita can beat that next month

3DS first two NPDs = ~592k (March 27th)
Vita first two NPDs = ~435k (Feburary 22nd and 15th for First Edition Bundles)

@logic56 Trust me, I'm a Sony fan, those are things I take into account! I'm not expecting much from it this month though, so the naysayers should get their time to shine.

EDIT: Holy shit, so from that thread, the Vita had a better second month than the 3DS? God damn it, you vgchartz guys crack me up. I thought you were serious about this Vita is doomed stuff.

What does the undertracked argument mean? Will not even bother with the "announced" games, because GT, God of War, are as announced as Bioshock and COD vita games, everyone knows they are coming, but guess what they don´t sell consoles 10 months before they release.

We are talking about NPD numbers, if you think those are great numbers and Sony cound´t have done any better go on..... If you are a rational guy and understand that Sony has a great handheld device at their disposal, you understand that they could have done a better job until today.
