when i play with my nephew and niece i have much more fun with kinect than i have with a standard controller game. same with some friends when they visit me to eat together or so and you play a round or two with them after that.
that's why i don't care if every game will get a score of 50% or something like that. i have a lot of fun with them then. if i'm alone at home i play my skyrim or battlefield but i don't have more fun as playing with other people together in front of the tv even when they are "shitty". much better than sitting in front of the tv to watch a boring movie together...
Because whether or not it has good tracking (it does have good tracking, just not good core game implementation) people enjoy using it, and just as significantly, because Microsoft spends an enormous amount publicising it.
More significantly, in fact, because who is more likely to buy a Kinect, somebody who owns and uses one or somebody who doesn't? Word of mouth can work wonders, but strong publicity can't hurt.
for once it would be great if people stopped talking about gigabytes and megabytes or ram and GHz.
For once it would be great if we asked.
Are we having with x game or y game?
Some of the most fun Ive had in gaming for awhile as been with Kinect Sports season 2, Child Of Eden and Star Wars Kinect. Oh and I also had heaps of fun with Kinectimals.

So the same reasoning as selnor then. The two reasons to humor the presence of Kinect: 1) Kids. 2) Beer. |
Your comments show your a very shortsighted or very self obsessed person. You cant comprehend why there are people out there who have fun with Kinect. So much so that its often more fun than the Uncharteds or Halos of this world.
