Folklore

I haven't played it myself but I've heard good things about it.

It also seems to be classified as an action RPG so I'm not sure if this fits the criteria =P

Though Demon's Souls is one of the most impressive games I've ever played, I have to say, it really is not for everyone and not a typical JRPG, like Final Fantasy. I see it as more of an action game, than an RPG.
