So the title is the question to you. I asked myself that question over and over again and came to the solution that this will be a great entry to the Ratchet and clank Universe. 

I mean why not. It should really be a Super Mario Galaxy style game. The universe whould perfectly fit to this idea. Sure some of the Ninty fans will cry out loud and say its a lame Super mario Galaxy clone (and in fact it would be a clone) but that happens often in the industry and i care less about it if the game is entertaining and fun to play.

I also think this will bring new life to the franchise which is in a steady declince since Tools of Destruction. I personally think this will make Ratchet and Clank more popular than ever.

What do you guys think?

They could put it in a Playstation 4 bundle along with Sony Brothers Brawl.

And then they should release God of War Kart Racing.

According to that interview, Miyamoto never heard of Ratchet and Clank let alone knew it was a PS3 exclusive or not. So if you want to believe words, I don't think Galaxy is a ripoff of Ratchet and Clank.

Mario Galaxy came out in 07 when did Ratchet and Clank come out? I mean both systems came out in 06 so if ratchet and clank came out in 06 and Mario Galaxy had been in development for 2+ years how could it be a copy? Did they change the games design in the last months before showing it at E3 06? When did they first show Ratchet and Clank for PS3?
